HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT 'WITHOUT' NEEDING TO FOLLOW A DIET...

Diet, Weight loss, Diet tips, Weight Watchers, Slimming. Diets, Health, Fitness, Diet Classes, Keeping Fit, Weight loss tips, Slimming Tips.

HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT 'WITHOUT' NEEDING TO FOLLOW A DIET IS AN EBOOK WRITTEN ON PDF AND IS AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE NOW AT 0.99p - JUST SIMPLY CLICK ON THE PAYPAL BUTTON AT THE SIDE AND LEAVE ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS.

Preface

I've been following diets most of my life. The minute I started to grow boobs everything else grew with it.

I've joined every slimming group around, been to lots of different health farms, tried lots of different slimming drugs.

Did any of them work? Well, hell yes, of course they ALL worked while I was doing them, but then the weight just crept back on again, and my yo-yo dieting began.

So, I decided to look at weight loss from a completely different angle and wrote a list of everything I felt I could not live without (including chocolate).

I then researched which foods on my list could actually help with weight loss and added a few more to it.

I did further research on which were the best types of herbs and supplements to use in my cooking to boost my weight loss, and the best way to burn calories up without even joining a gym.

I then research which of my favourite foods were the most filling which would not put weight on, and finally what I could do to take my mind of 'dieting'.

And it worked !!!!!

Obviously some of my favourite things had to come off the list but I just didn't miss then once I started seeing my weight loss eating the 'right' ones on my list.

Oh! I'm not some skinny bitch now (never have been), 'but' my weight is acceptable for my body frame, age and health, which, at the end of the day is all that matters. Personally I would rather be a little overweight and healthy, than slim and unhealthy.

I think the key to permanent weight loss lies in changing your attitude to eating the right things. Clear all your cupboards of the obvious calorie laden things and replace with others from your list that are a lot less.

I hope my book will inspire you to try what I have done and lose your excess weight without needing to follow a strict diet.

NERVES IN YOUR STOMACH COULD BE WHY YOU DONT LOSE WEIGHT...

Diet, Weight loss, Diet tips, Weight Watchers, Slimming. Diets, Health, Fitness, Diet Classes, Keeping Fit, Weight loss tips, Slimming Tips.

According to a recent study, research suggests that nerves in the stomach may cause your diet to fail.

The reason is because these are the nerves that tell the brain when the stomach is full. But when they get used to you eating fatty food, they stop working properly.

The trouble for dieters is that the malfunction continues even after a switch to healthy food.

Written in the International Journal of Obesity they said, ' More research is needed to determine how long the effect lasts and whether there is any way to trick the stomach into resetting itself to normal.

TEN OF THE BEST EVERYDAY FOODS TO HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT...

Diet, Weight loss, Diet tips, Weight Watchers, Slimming. Diets, Health, Fitness, Diet Classes, Keeping Fit, Weight loss tips, Slimming Tips.

1. Eat Greek yoghurt as its protein content has twice as much as other yoghurts and is

a fat fighting food.

2. Sip sweet liquorice, like fennel tea as it’s a natural diuretic and helps you to feel

full.

3. Eat wheat germ and oats as studies have demonstrated they can work magic with

your organism and keep your metabolism on top speed.

4. Eat vegetable soup as a starter to lose weight, as the fibre causes the rest of the

meal to pass through your digestive system more quickly.

5. Eat two eggs with low GI carbohydrate bread (rye or wholemeal) as it is slower to

digest and eggs have been found to reduce the number of calories eaten at lunchtime.

6. Keep a sugar free jelly made up in the fridge as it’s great when you fancy

something sweet.

7. Eat more protein as it’s harder for your body to break down than fat or

carbohydrates, and so you’ll burn more calories by eating it.

8. Eat an apple when your feeling hungry as five grains of fibre in a medium apple

will take the edge off your hunger. Eat an apple 15 minutes before your meal to feel

full. When digested they produce the hormone GLP-1, which sends messages to the

brain that you are full.

9. Cleanse your body of harmful impurities by using fruits such as acaiberry. Harmful

chemicals that are ingested add layers of fat to your body as well as clog your organs.

10. Eat hot peppers as they contain a flavourless compound called ‘capsaicin’ which

can curb your appetite and speed up your metabolism slightly.

OOLONG OR GREEN TEA FOR WEIGHT LOSS...

Diet, Weight loss, Diet tips, Weight Watchers, Slimming. Diets, Health, Fitness, Diet Classes, Keeping Fit, Weight loss tips, Slimming Tips.

If you don't like green tea which can help you with weight loss then try oolong instead. The difference in the two is in the processing. As far as weight loss is concerned we all know that two ways to reduce food related body weight are by exercising more and eating a low fat sensible diet.

We also know that caffeine is a stimulant and caffeine in tea increases metabolism, hence the increase in energy expenditure so then we only have one question to ask. Is it the caffeine or other compounds in the tea that contribute to that increase?

The Chinese have actually believed that oolong tea is beneficial in reducing and maintaining weight for a long time and a study in 1998 showed that continuous consumption of oolong tea for six weeks did result in a reduction of weight. In fact the data confirmed that a component other than just caffeine was responsible for promoting the preferential use of fat as an energy source.

A further Japanese study in 2003 compared the benefits of oolong tea and green tea on weight loss. The results were that after drinking oolong tea you will expend more energy than if you were drinking green tea or water and that it can last up to two hours.

Obviously more studies need to be done, but initial studies indicate that oolong tea has absorption blocking potentials. They suggest that you enjoy a cup of oolong 30 minutes to 1 hour before a walk, workout or yoga session to reap the best rewards. Also drink it in the afternoon to stave off late day sweet cravings and energy slumps. All of these should aid in a healthy weight loss and maintenance.

Lots more from teas etc website. http://www.teasetc.com/tea/article.asp?ID=1

A NEW WAY TO CUT CALORIES...

Diet, Weight loss, Diet tips, Weight Watchers, Slimming. Diets, Health, Fitness, Diet Classes, Keeping Fit, Weight loss tips, Slimming Tips.

Researchers have found that if you link your workouts to food it will help you to cut calories.

It was found that when diners were shown the amount of exercise needed to burn off an item of food on a menu, they chose a less calorific option.

They found the menu with exercises information made people order 15% fewer calories compared to the menu without any labels.

It makes sense but I can't see it catching on in Restaurants.

DIET FOOD DIARY - DAY TWO...

Diet, Weight loss, Diet tips, Weight Watchers, Slimming. Diets, Health, Fitness, Diet Classes, Keeping Fit, Weight loss tips, Slimming Tips.

I popped on the scales this morning, I know you shouldn't go on them that quick but I did feel less bloated and guess what - I lost a whole pound in my first day - brilliant :)

BREAKFAST DAY TWO

Sorry - same as yesterday as it is my favourite only without a banana this time

2 Chocolate Weetabix with 20ml Skimmed Milk - which made a total of 220 cals

SNACK

We do a food shop on a Friday so I tend to be thinking about food all morning and have lunch quite late so I decided to have a snack late morning instead of the banana for breakfast.

I had a McVities Hobnob for it's Oaty goodness and they are only 72 calories

LUNCH
By the time I get back from the Supermarket I try to always buy something that I can eat straight away as I am always so hungry and one of my favourites is Asda Fresh Tastes Prawn Layered Salad with creamy cocktail sauce which is 197g and 275 calories, yum, yum...

I only managed the walk around the supermarket today so again I have decided to not allow myself any more calories for exercise so my afternoon treat was not used up.

DINNER
For dinner I had 100g dried pasta which is 156 calories with Dolmio Sitr In Sun dried Tomato Light Sauce which is 129 calories - very filling and very tasty.

I followed with some Hartley's Sugar Free Raspberry Jelly - one packet makes four portions with only 8 calories per portion so if you wanted you could eat the whole jelly for only 36 calories

So far I've had 868 calories in total so with it being weekend I decided I would have some chocolate for a treat.

My treat is four Toblerone Minis which are 125 calories for four, which brings my total amount today to 993 - a really good day today.

DAY ONE OF MY NEW DIET...

Diet, Weight loss, Diet tips, Weight Watchers, Slimming. Diets, Health, Fitness, Diet Classes, Keeping Fit, Weight loss tips, Slimming Tips.

It's 'D.Day' today, I've been weighed in by the nurse and I need to lose a stone and a half, which I would love to try and lose at least half for Christmas. I am going to try and do it with the help of the Diet app, 'my fitness pal', and writing on here what I have eaten with the value and pictures.

DAY ONE
BREAKFAST
I am a TRUE 'chocoholic' so I have to start my day with some chocolate so 2 x Chocolate Weetabix and a banana are my start to the day.

The calories for two chocolate weetabix is 156 calories, plus 200ml skimmed milk 64 calories, plus a small banana which is 75 calories, giving a breakfast total of 286 calories.

LUNCH
I do find my carbohydrate breakfast keeps me full a long time so I am quite happy to have a fairly light lunch.

This is one of my favourite lunch feast, 2 slices of Warburtons Fruit Loaf with Orange which is 88 calories a slice and topped with Philadelphia Light Sweet Chilli which is 47 calories for 30g which is roughly the amount I put on each slice. My total calories for lunch is 270 calories.

If I have managed a short walk with my dog then I would have an afternoon treat of something no more than 100 calories but as I only had a very short walk today I have not included it in my activity.

DINNER
Tonight I have had some delicious fish cakes with new potatoes, peas and carrots, followed by chocolate meringue.

These fish cakes are ASDA extra special Cod, Feta and Roasted Red Pepper Fishcakes, which is flakes of Atlantic Cod fillet blended with Maris Piper potato, roasted red peppers, Greek Feta and fragrant basil, in a light crispy sauce and the calorie value is 218 calories.

I also added two new potatoes (100g) which are 66 calories and a tin of Bondvelle Petite Pois and Baby Carrots which are only 70 calories for the small 130g tin. An easy menu that needs no time to cook at all.

PUDDING
For my pudding I had a gorgeous Asda Extra Special Meringue Nest which is 64 calories topped with an even more gorgeous and deeeelicious Shape Chocolate Pot which is 109 calories. My total dinner came to 527 calories with my total for the day coming to 1,147 calories, which also includes around another 200ml of skimmed milk for my cups of tea.

That means I am still under 1200 which is what you can eat to lose around a pound a week. So who says you need to be hungry and not eat chocolate when you are on a diet? I think I can prove that you have your cake and eat it if you make sure what else you are eating.

DAY TWO to follow with photos and calorie values tomorrow.

HEALTH AND WEIGHT LOSS WORKOUT...

Diet, Weight loss, Diet tips, Weight Watchers, Slimming. Diets, Health, Fitness, Diet Classes, Keeping Fit, Weight loss tips, Slimming Tips.

They say that it's easy to make an excuse not to workout, with common excuses like, 'I'm too busy', or 'I feel self-conscious', and of course nowadays, 'I can't afford the gym membership'.

Well, with access to fitness DVD's and Wifely there is no excuse to the comment of 'I feel self conscious' or 'I can't afford to go to the gym' as you can do it in the privacy of your own home for free.

Being motivated is hard for anyone who doesn't exercise but if you wrote down a list of reasons why you should work out with 'for my health's sake', at the top of your list, I am sure you could think of more to add to it, like, 'looking better in your clothes' or 'feeling more energetic' or even 'for my kids'. These should help to remind you why you are doing it.

For me, personally, I need to do some form of exercise for my health sake.

My excuse has been the usual as well as my health related problem which is chronic back pain but now an added problem of osteoarthritis in my big toe!!!!

I cannot walk far without pain, could not possibly follow a DVD or WIFit exercise regime without hurting myself, so I have not bothered with either. Now, with my latest problem which could have developed through being overweight, I realise I have to do something about it.

So, I've bought a foot cycle which I am planning on using after my foot surgery this week. Until I am able to try it I will use it using my arms instead of my feet. So, watch this space for my results using this type of exercise machine

CHEW FOOD FOR WEIGHT LOSS...

CHEW FOOD FOR WEIGHT LOSS...

In the early 1900's Horace Fletcher, an art dealer from San Francisco unveiled a new weight loss technique by chewing your food 32 times, but without swallowing it.

Horace felt that by only chewing your food in this fashion your body would absorb all the nutrients it needed and you would be able to enjoy the taste of the food without gaining weight !!.

WAYS TO CURB YOUR APPETITE...

Make almonds your go-to snack as they are full of fibre which will make you feel fuller quicker and for longer. Eat a handful a day.

Drinking water before your meal can help you lose and extra four pounds over 12 weeks as it will help you to eat less. Drink two 200ml glasses of water immediately before each meal.

Eat two eggs with a low GI carbohydrate bread, such as rye or wholemeal. It is slower to digest and eggs have been found to reduce the number of calories eaten at lunchtime and can shave 400 calories off the average daily intake.

Swap your regular tea for a green tea as this will up your leptin levels which will help to burn up calories.

Eat an apple 15 minutes before a meal to feel full. When digested they also produce the hormone GLP-1, which sends messages to the brain that you are full.
